This modern chennai Planetarium is located next to Gandhi Mandapam and Guindy National Park in Chennai. a seating capacity of about 230, shows programmes depicting the position of constellations, the moon panorama, space travel and much more. Special arrangements are made for the public to view unusual phenomena such as solar eclipses. The Periyar Scienceand Technology centre is also on the same campus.
Birla Planetorium is an must see place in chennai, if you are visiting chennai with your kids. Planetarium will be closed on Sunday. Kids gets specials price of Rs 10/ visit. Where Adult will be charged the fee of Rs 20/= No foods or drinks are allowed.
